Escape to Nature in Penang
Looking for things to do with the family especially the kids in the weekend. Why not get yourself down to Escape, a family theme park, based on an eco-friendly outdoor theme with a difference.
Some of the activities suitable for children: Zoom Bug – a sort of mini pedal powered go cart; Tots Trail – climbing and crawling tubes; Tubby Racer – giant slide on a rubber float called tubby tube; Foxy Burrow, Go Ape, Discovery Dig, Tattoo and Learning House.
For the adults, there is the Atan’s Leap – leap through the air (with secure harness of course) for a rapid descent and a feather bed landing; Monkey Business – climbing and rope obstacle course and Gecko Tower – a climbing tower.
Please check age suitability with park attendant before allowing your little ones on any of the activities.
Opened in November 2012, the ticket rates are as below:–
- Children: 4-12 years RM 45
- Teenagers and Adults: 13-60 years RM50
- Over 60s: RM 45
Before you get yourself down there, you might want to make sure you pack some essentials and be in the right outdoor attire (trainers or sport shoes). Below are some of the things to bring:
- Plenty of Water
- Mosquito Repellant Cream
- Sun Cream
- Hat and sunglasses
- Umbrella
- Some extra clothes for the little ones
